Discover From Brussels with Love on May 30th, 2026, as part of the Downtown Brussels Art itinerary. From Brussels with Love is an independent artist-led initiative that proposes a direct approach to the relationship between artists and collectors. Founded by Alex Verhaest, the organisation defines itself as a hybrid space, at once a platform, a network, and a site of exchange, where the artwork is understood as the starting point of a conversation.
Each work acquired through this initiative is also part of a broader support dynamic, with a portion of sales being donated to an organisation or cause chosen by the artists.
As part of Downtown Brussels Art, From Brussels with Love presents, in collaboration with Anne-Marie Maes, a studio visit and tour of the artist’s rooftop garden, marking the transition from spring to summer.

The presentation brings together a selection of works by artists featured in the initiative’s first printed edition, including works by Alex Verhaest, a painting by Delphine Somers, as well as an immersion in the universe of Anne-Marie Maes.
A key figure in a practice at the intersection of art, science, and ecology, Anne-Marie Maes exceptionally opens the doors of her studio. Visitors are invited to explore her rooftop garden, a living ecosystem inhabited by bees, plants, and micro-organisms, which forms a central component of her artistic research.
The visits will take the form of guided tours, offering access to this usually private space and allowing visitors to understand the connections between the works presented and their environment of production.

On May 30th, 2026, guided tours will take place every two hours at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, and 17:00.
