Anna Frants opens the presentation, as an artist/curator, founder of CYLAND and curator of CYFEST 15, talking about the exhibition, concept, curation and the connection between art and technology.
This will be followed by the presentation of Umbigo as a curatorial platform whilst presenting the editions #88 and #89, which include the projects of the artists Anne Marie Maes and Thomas Braida. They will talk about their projects for the magazine and -as artists- stress the importance of magazines for the artistic ecosystem. Anne Marie will also give background on her contribution to the Cyfest#15 exhibition: her ‘Sensorial Skins’ installation and the connection between her work and (bio)technology.
The presentation ends with the participation of Teresa Albuquerque, speaking about the connection between art and ecology and Anne Marie’s Maes project for the Mateus Foundation.
