Flying home, the afternoon of a beautiful autumn day. The bees now collect and store pollen for their offspring-to-come next spring. Probably they get them at the big ivy tree on the wall of the nearby La Bellone arthouse.
In 4 of the 5 hives of the apiary, the queen is still ponding eggs (and thus winter bees). In 1 hive, the green one, she stopped already. This split-off (started in early june) grew out to a very voluminous colony.
