Finissage of the exhibition ‘The Matter of Kinship’ at Mateus Foundation, Vila Real (Pt).
Program:
Friday, 26th, 18h00: Presentation of the publication Matter of Kinship/Field Notes, with the presence the artist and Jonathan Minchin, Teresa de Albuquerque and Luís Alegre (Stolen Books publisher). Followed by the launch of Umbigo Magazine 1/2024 with a contribution by Anne Marie Maes, in presence of Elsa Garcia and António Neu (Umbigo), Álvaro Domingues (geographer University of Porto) and Jorge Leandro Rosa (essayist on aestethics, art and philosophy).
Saturday, 27th, 15h00: round-table with artists and researchers (Anne Marie Maes, Jonathan Minchin, Isadora Schmidt, Miguel Azguime and professors of History of the Art from the University of Porto), discussing the main theme ‘The Nature of Still Life’.
Saturday, 27th, 17h00: contemporary music concert by Miguel Azguime (composition and electronics) and Nuno Pinto (clarinet).
